Most New Supercars Skip The Manual, This $14 Million Pagani Didn’t

  • One-off Zonda Unica features an exposed blue carbon-fiber body.
  • The original owner commissioned the car with a six-speed manual.
  • Pagani’s AMG-sourced 7.3-liter V12 delivers 750 hp and 575 lb-ft.

Tracking the exact number of bespoke Pagani Zondas built over the past two decades is a fool’s errand, but the trajectory of their values is undeniable. These cars have appreciated faster than the McLaren F1, and the latest data point arrives this month in the form of a blue carbon Zonda Unica estimated to sell for between $11.1 million and $14.1 million

Broad Arrow Auctions will sell the car at its sales event during the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este next week. It’s rare for one of these specially-commissioned Zondas to hit the market, especially in a public auction. In late 2024, the one-off Pagani Zonda 760 LM Roadster traded hands for over $11 million, and this car arguably has even broader appeal than that one.

The one-off Zonda Unica was commissioned by the founder of Top Car Design and takes inspiration from the one-of-three Zonda Tricolore. As such, its skin is bathed in blue-tinted carbon fiber, complete with tricolor accents of the Italian flag on the hood, wing mirrors, roof scoop, and rear wing. Contrasting these elements are gold-painted accents running down the sides and matching gold wheels.

Power comes from the highest-spec AMG-sourced 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 from Pagani, delivering around 750 hp and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque. This grunt is sent through the rear wheels. Adding to the desirability of this particular car is the fact that it’s fitted with a six-speed manual transmission.

A supercar like this is supposedly designed to be driven, yet this one has only covered 2,617 km (1,626 miles) since being built. While that’s a shame, it’s hard to blame the original owner, as this is very much a rolling piece of art just as well-suited to an exclusive museum display as it is to cruising along the French Riviera or through the Italian Alps. The next owner will almost certainly continue the tradition, which is the eternal Pagani paradox

You can check out the listing over here before it disappears into another private collection.
