This Cayenne Proves Some Ideas Really Should Stay On Paper

  • Larte Design unveils a Cayenne kit crafted entirely from pink carbon.
  • The package offers eleven custom exterior pieces for Porsche owners.
  • Upgrades include bumpers, arches, hood vents, side skirts, and wheels.

The aftermarket world has always thrived on boundary pushing aesthetics. Sometimes that spirit produces inspired upgrades. Other times it delivers something that feels better left as a digital sketch. The latest creation from Larte Design falls squarely into the latter camp, showing that just because you can overhaul a vehicle like the Porsche Cayenne, that doesn’t mean you should.

Larte’s new kit for the Cayenne is quite unlike any other we’ve seen in the past. It includes a range of pre-preg carbon fiber accessories that can be added to the Porsche’s body. Instead of a traditional black finished carbon fiber, the tuner has chosen to make it bright pink. It may find favor with Paris Hilton, but it is hard to picture a broader audience lining up.

The parts begin at the front end with a new splitter that can be easily added to the original bumper. Larte has then crafted pink carbon fiber add-ons that surround the front air intakes and a panel beneath the black grille.

Moving further back, the Cayenne adopts a 911 inspired hood complete with custom air vents, two of them finished in the same pink carbon. The theme continues along the flanks, where pronounced pink carbon wheel arches and side skirts reshape the SUV’s profile. White wheels sit at each corner, accented with – what else – pink details.

It’s perhaps the rear of the Larte’s latest project that’s the most dramatic. The tuner has crafted an all-new diffuser for the Cayenne from pink carbon. It’s also added new blacked-out tailpipes and a small pink lip spoiler on the decklid.

According to the tuner, the carbon fiber parts have been designed not to interfere with any of Porsche’s safety features, including its parking sensors, although we don’t yet know how much the kit will cost.
