690 HP Porsche Loses Shocking Amount Of Value After Only 1,800 Miles

The luxury performance sedan market is filled with eye-catching contenders, but few combine raw speed, refined comfort, and everyday usability quite like the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Even so, that blend of capability and prestige hasn’t shielded this model from a steep drop in value after covering just 1,800 miles (about 2,900 km).

Located in Windham, New Hampshire, this 2023 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid was originally delivered with a retail price of $197,850. That’s a lot of money, although it is quite a bit less than the updated 2026 model, which starts at an eye-watering $239,000. The sports sedan recently traded hands on Cars & Bids, where it sold for just $125,500 after 61 bids.

In other words, the car shed more than $70,000 in value, working out to roughly $40 for every mile driven.

Power at a steep discount

Obviously, this is bad news for the seller, but great for the buyer. Those in the market for a brand new Panamera can only get the base model, Panamera 4, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid for less than $125,000. The highest-powered version of that trio, the 4 E-Hybrid, is capped at 463 hp. By comparison, the Turbo S E-Hybrid sold here packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid delivering 690 hp and 641 lb-ft (869 Nm).

This particular car comes equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, 21-inch Turbo Design II wheels, Acid Green brake calipers, and a thumping Bose audio system. It also features dual sunroofs, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and adaptive cruise control.

Quiet performance, serious capability

Compared to rivals like the BMW M5, Mercedes-AMG E 63, and Audi RS6, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is relatively understated, making it an ideal luxury sleeper. These things can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds, all in supreme comfort. In addition, Porsches are generally far more reliable than cars from rival German brands, making the Panamera a no-brainer for those on the hunt for a super sedan.
