Mercedes introduced the redesigned CLA in March and now the company is preparing to say farewell to its predecessor. As part of this effort, they’ve introduced the CLA 45 S Final Edition.
Set to arrive in the United States early next year, the special edition features a Manufaktur Mountain Grey Magno exterior with black and yellow graphics on the front doors and mirror caps. This two-tone theme is echoed on the 19-inch forged wheels, which have a matte black finish as well as contrasting yellow accents.

Rounding out the highlights are a silver chrome gas cap and gloss black brake calipers with white “AMG” badging. The car also comes equipped with the AMG Night Plus and AMG Aerodynamics Plus packages. These add gloss black and black chrome accents as well as a fixed rear spoiler, a larger splitter, and front flics.
The interior hasn’t been forgotten as buyers will be treated to unique AMG Performance seats that have black MB-Tex and microfiber upholstery. The seats also sport yellow contrast stitching as well as “45 S” embroidery on the headrests.
The special touches continue with a Nappa leather/microfiber AMG Performance steering wheel and AMG floor mats with yellow contrast stitching. They’re joined by illuminated sill plates and a “45 S Final Edition” badge on the center console.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 416 hp (310 kW / 422 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in four seconds flat and hit an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Mercedes didn’t mention pricing, but a “limited” number of cars will come stateside. The special edition will also be available in Europe, where it can be had in sedan or wagon form. The European variant also offers a night black uni exterior as well as a higher top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
