Rumor: Stellantis Employees Could Lease Charger Daytona For $268 And Wagoneer S For $129
- A person claiming to be a CDJR dealer manager says Stellantis is preparing huge lease deals.
- They allege the Dodge Charger Daytona R/T could be leased for as low as $268 a month.
- Furthermore, they say employees may lease the Jeep Wagoneer S for just $129 a month.
The electric Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona both have a lot of work to do for their respective brands. Stellantis sees both as key players in ushering in a new generation of vehicles. Unfortunately, neither has generated much excitement and in fact, both have received lackluster reviews from journalists, not to mention some pretty heavy early discounts from dealers.
According to one person who claims to have insider knowledge, the company may have a drastic plan to boost interest—one that could soon benefit the public as well.

Before we get too far, let’s highlight that the person behind this Reddit account posting under the alias Any-Shallot2041 claims to be a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership manager in Jew Jersey. But, their account is new and has zero history. That means that everything we’re reading here could be completely erroneous. Despite that, the comments do sound convincing and knowledgeable.
Of course, if someone wanted to leak information anonymously, a fresh Reddit account would be one way to do it and mitigate some risk. No doubt, the last thing Stellantis would want is a dealership manager imploring people to hold off on buying a car. With that out of the way, let’s chat about these rumored deals because if they’re real, they’re almost too good to be true.

According to the poster on Reddit, Stellantis informed dealership general managers that employees are about to get a huge discount on lease deals for both the Charger Daytona and Jeep Wagoneer S. Those interested in the Dodge can allegedly get the R/T for 24 months with an allotment of 10,000 miles per year for $2,000 down and $268 a month before taxes and fees.
Employees who want the Scat Pack can get the same lease term and mileage allowance for $2,000 down and $331 a month. Make no mistake about it, those are wildly good terms but the Jeep deal is even more outlandish. In fact, it’s hard to believe, as employees will allegedly have the option to lease the Wagoneer S for $2,000 down and just $129 per month. That’s an almost absurd price for any vehicle, let alone one with a starting MSRP of $65,200. That said, we’re skeptical.
Will These Alleged Deals Extend to the Public?
The part that matters to everyone outside of the employee tree is that the poster claims that they’ll eventually make it to the public. “I’m sure all of you guys are aware the demand for these vehicles are next to nothing. Stellantis is apparently doing this to get the cars out on the road and get eyes on the cars.” If true, it’ll be tough for some to justify not leasing a brand-new car worth roughly $70,000 or more for $350 or less per month.

We’ve reached out to the poster for confirmation of their claims and will update this post should we obtain that. Given the steep discounts already on offer to the public for both the Charger and Wagoneer S, these rumored lease offers just might have some truth to them.
