Cybertruck Wheels Snap Off Like Twigs In Bizarre TikTok Video

Image
Two videos on TikTok show the left-hand side wheels on a Cybertruck that broke, likely after an impact. This has led some to question their integrity, with the person who uploaded the clips suggesting that a recall is in order. Few cars have ever divided opinions quite like the Tesla Cybertruck. However, it’s also proven to be riddled with problems and videos recently shared to TikTok appear to suggest the wheels might be more fragile than expected. Earlier in the year , Tesla had to fix the standard aero covers on the Cybertruck’s wheels after it was revealed they were chewing into the tire sidewall. However, this latest potential problem isn’t related to the wheel covers, but instea

2,200-Mile Tesla Model 3 Performance ‘Highland’ Sells For $12k Under MSRP

The Tesla Model 3 Performance is a seriously fast sports sedan. Now, buyers are finding it with deep discounts on the second-hand market. One crossed the auction block at $12k under MSRP and another is up for grabs. Love them or hate them, electric vehicles can deliver mind-bending performance. We’re talking supercar levels of acceleration here, at least for 0-60 mph (96 km/h) and quarter-mile sprints. Take the Tesla Model 3 Performance, for instance. That is, as long as you can stomach the depreciation that comes with it, especially compared to something like a BMW M3, which holds its value far better. More: New Tesla Model 3 L

Image
A new study from Consumer Reports has revealed the true running costs of popular brands’ cars over a 10-year period. Data shows that choosing one brand could result in you paying five times as much in maintenance and repairs. Teslas are by far the least expensive to run and Land Rover products the most expensive, the study claims. A vehicle’s price —whether the upfront cost or the monthly loan payment—and gas mileage numbers help us work out whether we can afford to run that new car we’re considering buying. Maintenance costs should also figure big in our calculations, but those stats aren’t as easy to come by, until now. The latest study by Consumer Reports produced some solid real world data looking at which brands’ vehicles cost the most and which cost the least to run over a 10-year period. To do that it asked CR members taking part in its annual reliability study how much they’d spent on servicing and repairs in the previous 12 months. More: Tesla Model 3 Ranks De
