Chevrolet Blazer EV Gets At Least 279 Miles Of Range And Initial Base Price Of $56,715

The all-new all-electric Chevrolet Blazer is already on its way to dealers and we know what some trim levels will cost when they arrive. While the bowtie brand didn’t spill all the tea on its latest EV offering it did announce range figures, pricing, and more on at least three trim levels.

Chevrolet is already in the process of building the first production units of the Blazer RS AWD. It says that dealers can expect these cars in August and that they’ll have an MSRP of $60,215. It has a range of 279 miles (449 km) on a full charge.

Production and deliveries of the RS RWD and 2LT AWD start at a later date though Chevy didn’t specify when. The former gets an MSRP of $61,790 and an estimated 320 miles of range while the latter is priced at $56,715 with the same range as the RS AWD.

Chevrolet has already come out ahead of the launch to ask dealers to avoid marking up the Blazer EV. It’s gone even further in the past to disincentivize the practice in the past with mixed results. Will it be more successful now? We’re not holding our breath.

Chevrolet hasn’t said anything about the 1LT, the entry-level version of the Blazer EV it once said would start at just $44,995. That model and its information are still on Chevy’s website as of this writing. It did say that it would release further details about yet-to-be-released trims like it and the SS in the future. While pricing on the RS and 2LT is much more expensive than the 1LT, Chevy says that they’re “highly contented with features we know our customers want.”

For now, every Blazer EV benefits from a 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 11-inch driver information display, faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated exterior mirrors, a wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system. That’s a lot of content which makes sense given this car’s high barrier to entry.
