Driven Just 9K Miles, This 1977 BMW E21 Is About As Frozen In Time As It Gets
A pristine 1977 BMW 320i went to auction and left without a buyer. Bidding climbed to $20,000 yet still came up short of the reserve. The original sticker read $9,620, close to a new 330i in today’s money. BMW is believed to have built more than 1.3 million examples of the E21-generation 3-Series , but you’d be hard-pressed to find one in the US in the same kind of pristine condition as this one. Offered at auction through Bring a Trailer, this E21 has been driven just 9,000 miles (roughly 14,500 km) and looked to be in excellent condition given its age.
