A suspect recently led police on a high-speed chase that spanned multiple counties and countless roads. Despite driving over sidewalks, bike lanes, and into oncoming traffic at times, the chase finally came to an end without a single injury. Making that happen took the perfect PIT maneuver. Initially, the suspect involved in this high-speed chase was simply wanted for speeding on the 710 Freeway at Anaheim Street in Long Beach, California. Instead of simply pulling over and potentially being let go with a warning or a traffic ticket, the driver decided to see if they could outrun the cops in what looks to be a Toyota Avalon . Sometime around 5 p.m. on Thursday, police converged on the driver but the chase ended up continuing through Westminster, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway. A stunning 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe from Singer is up for auction and looks on track to trade hands for over $1 million. This particular 911 from Singer was delivered in April 2020 after some three years of construction. It is dubbed the Pikes Peak Commission and is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic. The craftsmanship on display is simply staggering. Many of the car’s body panels , such as the fenders, bumpers, hood, and rear decklid are made from carbon fiber, as is the roof. It also has ghosted light stripes, nickel-plated bumperettes, raised gold Porsche letting and a brass Singer badge, while a clear protection film adorns the entire body. The Maybach brand has expanded its Icons of Luxury clothing collection with an aim of attracting a younger, fashion-conscious audience. Maybach is obviously a brand that most people associate with luxury cars but its new pieces of clothing are certainly intriguing. They form part of the new Unexpected Moments collection and all feature prominent logos and branding. The items include unisex, men’s, and women’s designs for cold weather and between-seasons wear. The collection kicks off with The Zest I, a men’s winter leather and lambskin jacket with a down-filled polyester rear panel. It is available in sizes M – XXXL and has a stylish hood and four large pockets.
