Teens Steal Ferrari 488, Lead Police On Chase From Rhode Island To Florida

Police allege that two teenagers stole a 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider in Rhode Island. They then drove the car all the way to Florida before officers noticed it there and gave chase. Now, both young men are in jail facing various charges related to the incident. Driving a high-performance supercar up or down the coast is a dream few of us will experience. Two teenagers from Rhode Island can already say they’ve done it though. Of course, it might cost them a lifetime of trouble as police allege that they stole the Italian stallion in Rhode Island and then fled from officers when they arrived in Florida . Those teens are Johnathan Costa, 19, and Logan Slezak, 18, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Authorities say that the pair stole the 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider all the way back in October of 2023. Nearly 50% of U.S. dealerships show zero interest for selling electric vehicles, study finds. Dealership enthusiasm for EVs is particularly low in southern states, and even in California. Even dealers in colder states worry about winter range issues, adding to their disinterest in EVs. Despite automakers easing back on their EV push in the face of a slowdown in demand , car buyers have a greater choice of electric cars than ever before, and that choice is only going to grow over the next few years. But dealers are less than ecstatic at the prospect of selling all those new EVs, a new survey reveals. An investigation into the attitudes of 250 big-shot dealerships across the country by CDK Global found that 49 percent of their sales teams weren’t excited at all about selling EVs.
