Glamp Out In A Mercedes Unimog From ‘The Walking Dead’ And ‘The Hunger Games’ On Airbnb

Image
A 1966 Mercedes Unimog featured on screen in a number of post-apocalyptic productions, including “The Walking Dead” and “The Hunger Games ” is being offered as an Airbnb in rural Alabama, and you can stay there for $102 per night. Unfortunately, the German off-road transport vehicle is only available as a stationary RV , and you will not be allowed to drive it. However, to get to it, you will have to trust the owners, because the off-grid camping spot is a 1.25-mile ride from the nearest road. Located on a 105-acre property in Kimberly, Alabama, outside of Birmingham, the off-the-grid spot is billed as a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. However, with “zombie blood” dried onto the Unimog’s windshield, it may not be everyone’s idea of relaxing. advertisement scroll to continue Read: Little Talladega Is The 60 Acre AirBnB Petrolheads’ Dreams Are Made Of Photos Airbnb If you’re brave enough to rent it out, your camping spot will at le...

All-Carbon Koenigsegg Jesko Attack With 24K Gold Accents Is A Feast For The Eyes

Image
Koenigsegg is building just 125 examples of the Jesko and an example clad entirely in glossy carbon fiber with 24-karat gold accents has just left its factory. The Swedish car manufacturer unveiled the replacement to the Agera back in 2019 and it appears as though the person who ordered this example took inspiration from a particularly famous Agera RS. That Agera, known as ‘Phoenix,’ was originally built for U.S. real estate mogul Manny Khoshbin and bathed in exposed carbon fiber body panels with gold accents. Various exterior accents have then been clad in real 24-karat gold leaf accents. This includes the front canards, the wing mirror arms, a central element on the front fascia, the aerodynamic flics on the...

Polestar 2 Driver’s Minor Run-In With Deer Ends In $21,000 Repair Estimate

Image
Fender benders and collisions with animals on the road are unfortunate incidents that can happen at times. In the case of one Polestar 2 driver, it was the latter—a collision with a deer—that led them to the body shop. Interestingly, the shock they experienced during the deer collision might pale in comparison to the one they encountered when presented with the repair bill. The shop quoted them over $21,000 to address what initially appeared to be minor damage. Reddit user Stock-Exchange1761 doesn’t delve into the specifics of the crash, simply mentioning that they collided with a deer. What they did instead was show off the resulting damage which itself doesn’t appear to be too rough. Upon closer inspection, some details begin to pop out. The Polestar EV’s bumper is pushed back and the headlight is damaged too. The hood, wheel, and fender each have some damage. Interestingly, the breakdown doesn’t include a number of vital electrical parts that lie beneath the skin. Instead, th...
