Design Velkē Unveils Impeccable 1977 Porsche 911 RSR Recreation For $360,000

Image
There’s no shortage of restomodded Porsche 911s out there and while Singer is the company most synonymous with them, there are plenty of other firms with expertise in making classic 911s better. One of them is Design Velkē based out of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and a stunning 1977 911 RSR recreation it recently built is up for sale. From a visual standpoint, the car doesn’t look all that different from a genuine 911 RSR from the mid-1970s. In fact, only the most observant of Porsche enthusiasts would be able to notice the differences. Despite the familiar looks, an extraordinary amount of work has gone into creating the ultimate ’77 Porsche 911 and it’s hardly a surprise that it has a $359,900 asking price . Design Velkē started out by acid dipping this 911 and then crafted all of the custom metal body panels. The entire exterior was then primed in Detroit before it was rolled into the paint shop and given the bright shade of green you see. It has been designed as a spirited driver

ABT’s Audi RS Q8-S May Be The Perfect Urus Alternative

Image
The Audi RS Q8 is considered by some as a cheaper and perhaps better-looking alternative to the Lamborghini Urus and while it ordinarily lacks the grunt to rival the Raging Bull, ABT Sportsline has the answer to that with its RS Q8-S package. This isn’t ABT’s first time modifying the RS Q8 as it released its RS Q8-R model a few years ago . The S isn’t quite as extreme as the R but it still makes the super SUV stand out thanks to the fitment of various new exterior parts. These include a carbon fiber splitter, a carbon front grille surround, striking aerodynamic winglets on the side skirts, a new rooftop lip spoiler, and a bold new diffuser. While these upgrades are quite striking, they are not over-the-top, and even with them, the RS Q8-S looks more subtle than a Urus. Various other upgrades have been made. This particular example has been equipped with a set of massive 23-inch wheels with a 10-spoke design finished in gloss black. It’s unclear if these wheels negatively impac

Facelifted Kia EV6 Spied With New Headlights And Curvier Accents

Image
The Kia EV6 still feels new, but the model was introduced nearly three years ago. Given that, it’s not surprising spy photographers have snapped a facelifted prototype undergoing testing in Europe. Caught heavily disguised, the 2025 EV6 will adopt a new front fascia and restyled headlights. The latter can be seen peeking out from beneath the camouflage and they appear to adopt a triangular design with stacked LEDs. Further below, we can see a central intake with a new rectangular mesh pattern. Additional details are hard to make out, but it appears the bumper might be slightly more curvaceous. advertisement scroll to continue More: 2024 Kia EV6 Adds Two New And More Affordable Long Range Trims The rest of the crossover is familiar, but we can see what appears to be a new rear bumper. It also looks like the automaker could swap the position of some painted and gloss black accents out back. While that remains to be seen, we can expect updated wheels as well as a revised

2026 Mercedes EQC SUV Limbering Up For A Fight With BMW’s Neue Klasse iX3

Image
The Tesla Model Y has been the electric SUV to beat for the past couple of years, and in Europe, where the Y is the best-selling car of any shape or power type, rivals can’t get close to matching its sales numbers . But life for the Model Y will get increasingly difficult over the next few years. Not only will it soon find itself under fire from Chinese brands expanding outside of China for the first time, but the established luxury car brands Tesla stole customers from are fighting back. BMW is getting ready to launch the first EV to use its Neue Klasse platform, an electric SUV that could be called iX3 . And Mercedes is putting the finishing touches to the EV you see here, the 2026 EQC SUV (or GLC EV, as some sources refer to it). The EQC badge has been around since 2018, but just as the current European BMW iX3, which isn’t sold in the U.S., is merely an electrified X3, today’s EQC is simply an EV-converted version of the combustion GLC SUV. The next EQC, though, will switch to
