“Need A Tow Back To Russia?” Ukrainian Driver Jokes With Russian Soldiers After Their Tank Runs Out Of Fuel

Image
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine does not seem to be going as well as President Vladimir Putin planned. For one, Ukraine’s citizens have turned out to be much more resilient than Putin could have hoped. But more surprising is the apparent lack of preparedness in the Russian troops. This video being widely shared on social media shows a Russian tank stranded at the side of the road having run out of fuel. Its crew can do nothing but wait for fresh diesel to arrive. But the craziest thing about the clip is the exchange that follows between the Ukrainian civilian capturing the footage of the stricken tank and the Russian soldiers piloting it. The Ukrainian driver bravely pulls alongside the tank , rolls down his window and asks “Are you guys broken? Broken down?”, to which the Russian soldiers reply that they are out of fuel. VW’s Forgotten W12 Supercar Claimed 7 World Records And Didn’t Even Reach Production

Image
While the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron are among the most famous cars to feature ‘W’ engines, the Volkswagen Group did design a supercar with a ‘W’ engine well before the Veyron. The car in question was dubbed the Volkswagen W12 Concept Coupe that debuted at the Tokyo International Motor Show in 1997. It did not hit the production line but it did manage to break a number of world speed records during testing. The subsequent engine pumped out 414 hp, all of which was sent through a six-speed sequential transmission and a Syncro all-wheel-drive system. Over the following three years, VW developed the W12 Concept Coupe and eventually ditched the all-wheel-drive system, replacing it with a rear-wheel-drive set-up. The engine was also e...

New 2022 Nissan Juke Hybrid Gains Electrified Powertrain With An EV Mode

Image
In a quest for a fully electrified range by 2023, Nissan has unveiled the Juke Hybrid, a new variant of the popular subcompact SUV that will go on sale in Europe starting this summer. The second-generation Juke , originally introduced in 2018, benefits from the electrified powertrain developed by Nissan and Renault that is already used in the E-Tech variants of the Renault Clio and Captur . This consists of a naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 93 hp (69 kW / 94 PS) and 148 Nm of torque, an electric motor producing 48 hp (36 kW / 49 hp) and 205 Nm (151.2 lb-ft), a second electric motor working as an HSG (High-Voltage Starter Generator), a 1.2 kWh water-cooled battery, and a sophisticated multi-mode gearbox sending power to the front axle. Updated 2023 Audi E-tron Sportback Spotted Wearing Less Camo Than Ever

Image
Audi will soon give both the e-tron and the e-tron Sportback a mid-cycle refresh and, although the visual updates will be minor, the new SUV may feature some important improvements. Seen here sporting less camouflage than we’ve seen on the test vehicle, the vehicle’s most major visual updates are still hidden behind a partial wrap covering the front and rear bumpers. If previous photos from our spy photographers are anything to go on, a new honeycomb grille will grace the front of this vehicle. Otherwise, updates are difficult to glean for certain and appear to be minor in nature but the side skirts do appear to have been reworked slightly on this example with grey cladding. For $1.6 Million, Will You Go For A One Of A Kind Beige Bugatti Veyron?

Image
Almost every used car has seen its value rise to some degree over the last two years. That also applies to vehicles in the supercar category like this gold and beige Bugatti Veyron . Priced at more than $1.5 million, we’re not so sure that it’s the 16-cylinder rocket to drop your hard-earned cash on. Don’t get us wrong; we love that 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged V16 and all of the speed and excess that comes with it. And this particular car seems to come with a lot of the original equipment and has enough mileage that one could drive it without hugely devaluing it. No, there are some other concerns that we would have if it were our money. First and foremost, the fact that this Veyron looks like it stole its paint colors from a mid-2000s Toyota Camry isn’t the best thing. When most of us close our eyes and visualize a Bugatti Veyron it’s not likely that this paint combo pops up into our minds. Nevertheless, the seller says that this is a totally one-off paint color combination so per...
